Jamie Foxx helped save a man from a burning pickup truck after he wrecked in front of Jamie's house outside L.A. Monday night.

The truck was on fire and tipped on it's side when Jamie and another man broke the window with a pair of EMT scissors and pulled the man free. After the rescue, paramedics determined that the driver, 32-year-old Brett Kyle, had been speeding and lost control on the wet road, driving into a drainage ditch and rolling his pickup several times. Unfortunately, it was also discovered that Kyle was drunk and he was later arrested for DUI and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Jamie Foxx was interviewed by the ABC affiliate in LA and shared his account of the accident. The father of the driver was also interviewed and couldn't hold back tears as he said, "It doesn't matter to me who it was or what they do for a living, or whatever, just the idea that someone would do that is so much more than I could fathom."
