I was out at camp yesterday inside at the table getting some work done when I started hearing a loud chirping noise outside the door. I thought it was a bird, but it turns out it was the loudest chipmunk I've ever heard and try as I might, I couldn't scare him off.

I'm not sure what was so important to him to do the chipmunk equivalent of yelling across a field. If this is a mating call and he's not leaving, I've got a bigger problem.
