The redesigned logo reflects a new era for Burger King and its commitment to fresher, cleaner ingredients is best represented by looking back to simpler, less processed times.

This is the Burger King on Gorham Road in South Portland. But there are reports of other Burger Kings in Maine going through the same changes. But it's not just the signs that are changing. Burger King also changed the menu. They have 'banned' 120 ingredients from their food. Hmm. That's an awful lot of ingredients. So just want IS banned? No more aluminum, bleached flour, sorbic acid, or Yellow #5 food dye? I like the commitment, but am now wondering, 'What the hell have I been eating?' Not that I thought it was healthy, but 120 ingredients that aren't anything close to food is slightly concerning.

If the sign is a sign of less process, good for them! To be honest, it makes me want to go try a Whopper and see if I notice a difference.
