‘Wounded Heroes’ Needs Your Help
Ev Skiba (to Jeff's left) and Pam Payeur (to Lori's right) are from 'Wounded Heroes', a non-profit that's a safety net for vets who come back from war wounded. Pam's son came back from Iraq after the 11th IED (improvised explosive device) ended his military career. He's got a long road back, but with Pam as his advocate - he's gonna make it!
Pam works 80 hours a week - for free - making sure that wounded veterans have their expenses covered until their benefits kick in. That's a frustrating process that can take a year or longer. Our interview was both heartbreaking and inspiring. Pam has that affect on people. If you can help, they would so appreciate it. Listen to the interview here.
