An Open Love Letter to Blue Rooster Food Company from Your Biggest Fan

Dear Blue Rooster Food Company, 

We've known each other for just a few months now, but I already know what I'm feeling is real. A friend of mine introduced me to you one night when I was feeling empty and tired. The hours of dancing were fun but I was hungry for something more after a night of sweet beats from DJ Royale at Oasis.

There you were. The glow from your windows lit up Dana Street as bar-goers just like me poured in for their late night munchies.

Your menu is like nothing I've ever seen: Tater tots, hot dogs, Brussels sprouts... Sure, you have sandwiches and other special items, but the real show pony is your selection of tater tots and fried sprouts. Ever since my first forkful of Tot-tine I've told everyone I know about your crispy, melty, gravy-loaded ways.

The deep fried brussels sprouts make me feel just healthy enough to justify whatever caloric sins I committed in the hours leading up to my feast at your table.

And then there's Brandon. The hardworking Brandon makes everyone who walks into the small-but-cozy restaurant feel like they're the most important person in the world. He's got a quick wit and a no-BS attitude that surely came from dealing with many too tipsy patrons late at night. Still, he makes menu suggestions like a true pro and is always up for a "make me anything" request. I'm sure other people work with Brandon, but it seems I only stumble upon Brandon during my regular visits.

Blue Rooster, it's true, I'm your biggest fan. I hope to enjoy your Tot-tine each Friday night that I find myself nearly busting my ankles on the cobblestones of Wharf Street. Never change.
