BBQ To Be Held in Fryeburg for Gaige McCue Memorial Scholarship

The owner of Worth the Wait BBQ in Waterford is co-hosting an event to celebrate the life of Gaige McCue and bring awareness to Suicide Prevention.

It's been 5 years since Joshua Enos' good friend Gaige passed away. To celebrate his life and raise money and awareness, Joshua Enos will be bringing his smoker to Saco River Brewing in Fryeburg on August 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. and cooking up pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and cornbread as well as burgers and hot dogs. There'll be beer and music from the band Junco as well.

Proceeds from this event will go toward The Gaige McCue Memorial Scholarship which is presented to a Fryeburg Academy Alternative School graduate. A donation is also made each year to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Cash donations will also be accepted.
