Maine's Flagg family has an important mission, and you can help.

If you haven't heard, Cooper Flagg is the top-rated high school basketball player in the country, according to ESPN. First, this extremely talented young man is off to Duke University. It's quite the journey when you consider that Cooper, his twin Ace, and their brother Hunter were all premature babies. That's why the family has committed to supporting the Ronald McDonald House in Portland in any way they can. And you can help.

Why does the Flagg family help the Ronald McDonald House of Maine?

In August 2004, Hunter Flagg was born at MMC at 24 weeks, weighing just 1 lb. 10 oz. His twin brother Ryder passed away at two days old. The family was able to stay at the RMH in Portland for the duration of Hunter's 109-day hospital stay until he was strong enough to go home. In December of 2006, Kelly Flagg was again admitted to MMC as a high-risk patient, pregnant with twins. Ace and Cooper were born three weeks later at 35 weeks. But the twins grew strong quickly, and at just four days old on Christmas Day, they went home.

Victor Rios from Expose Design designed the 'In Flagg We Trust' shirt to support Maine Basketball's Cooper and Ace Flagg, and received the family's blessing. They loved the shirt, and that's when they decided that a portion of the sales would go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities here in Portland. It was important to the Flagg family to give back to the RMHC. The RMHC was there for them in their time of need. When Cooper and Ace Flagg came to Maine for the 'Maine Event' at the Cross Insurance Arena and Portland Expo, it was the first opportunity to sell the shirts! For that night, $10 from every shirt sold went to the RMHC for a whopping $5,000 donation (more shirts were sold after the game, so that's why the check says $4,000 and not $5,000)!

Expose Design handles all of the production, website, and sales of the shirts. Then on behalf of the Flagg Family, $5 of each shirt sold will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Portland. But wait, THERE'S MORE!
