Multiple news sources, including the Portland Press Herald and News Center Maine are reporting that the teenage girl reported missing in late January has been found in New York City.

Reports indicate that 14-year-old Hilda Vanessa Sanaguaray-Upaya was found by New York City police in a neighborhood that the family previously lived in before relocating to Maine. The girl is said to have run away from her family following an argument.

Multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies assisted in locating the girl, including the Maine State Police, Moonachie Police Department in New Jersey, Newark Police Department in New Jersey, the New York City Police Department's 43rd Precinct, and the FBI.
