How Am I Ever Going To Afford The Holidays?!

Are you asking yourself the same question these days? How am I ever going to afford the holidays?

I am the proud Auntie of five kids all from the same brother, four boys and one girl. Three of the boys are 12 year old triplets, all kids believe in Santa and all four boys want one of the hottest toys this holiday season, Dr. Dre Beats Headphones. These things can set you back $199.00 or $299.00 depending on which color or style you want.

Teaching kids the meaning of the word "no" is an important lesson in life. But when Christmas comes, what parent or Auntie doesn't want to see that excited smile when the one thing they asked for gets opened up.  That being said, what do you do when the one thing they want is this expensive? Well, this Auntie went coupon collecting and  Black Friday shopping. It's amazing how many stores will price match. For example Target will price match Walmart and Amazon as will Walmart for Target and Amazon.  I was able to wiggle the price down to $112.00 each!! I'm glad I did the research because I was afraid I would have to resort to an elaborate story about a horrible fire in the elf shop at The North Pole.
