I Made a Pumpkin Pie From Scratch!

I like to cook, but I'm not much of a baker. But when one of the twins asked if he could make a pumpkin pie from a pumpkin he got at school...well, okay.  So, the whole family got behind making a pumpkin pie with REAL PUMPKIN!

I have always been a believer that pumpkin pie is made from a can or purchased already made at a store.  And guess what?  It looked terrible when cooking!  The kids thought it looked gross, and well...so did Jen and I.

But 40 minutes later, this is what came out of the oven -

PUMPKIN PIE!!

I googled the recipe.

I say go for it and live on the edge!  Have dessert first tonight!
