Maine Roller Derby's Charity Event This Saturday

If you've never been to a roller derby match this Saturday evening is the perfect time to go.

The Maine Roller Derby is having their annual Thanks For Giving charity event to help support Opportunity Alliance, which serves more than 20,000 people annually in Maine by providing advocacy, leadership and support. A portion of your charitable donations will help benefit the group.

The fun starts at 5pm at Happy Wheels on Warren Ave and you can get in on the action! When you donate, you will be given the opportunity to change the rules! Pretty much anything goes, award a team more points, tell the skaters to go backwards, send players to the penalty box and more! You donate, you control!
