You would think it was an Oscar contender - but it's just a movie with lots of explosions, car chases and girls in skimpy clothing, and Movie Mom loves it. It's 'Furious 7'.

The crazy part (and sad part) of this movie is that it is the last movie Paul Walker made. He died (ironically) in a car accident while filming. His brother Cody Walker filled in for Paul after his death. Movie Mom loved the action and the fun of the film and says middle schoolers and up are fine for this movie!

Then she said if you had 'class' you could see 'Woman in Gold' a true story based on Maria Altmann, an octogenarian Jewish refugee, who takes on the government to recover artwork she believes rightfully belongs to her family. It stars the immensely classy Helen Mirren.

Then there's a movie if you like/hate hipsters starring Ben Stiller called, 'While We're Young'. It's a movie about a couple who sort of falls in love with another couple because they are just so hip!

Stay home this weekend to some great choices like the Oscar nominated 'Imitation Game' with Benedict Cumberbatch. Or the Oscar nominated movie 'Wild' with Reese Witherspoon (I'm almost done with the book!) Also out on DVD this week is  'Interstellar'. Movie Mom says maybe you can figure it out the second time you see it!
