If you've ever wanted to see a late-night talk show in person but didn't want to travel to New York City or Hollywood, here's your chance. The Nite Show with Danny Cashman is returning to the Westbrook Performing Arts Center on March 29.

The Nite Show first went on the air in Bangor in 1997 on a small WB affiliate. While the show went off the air for several years before returning to TV on CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates statewide, the show has now been in existence for 27 years.

Over the years, Cashman has had some amazing guests, all of whom were impressed with the production of The Nite Show, like Patrick Demsey...

...actor, game show host, and musician John Davidson...

...Double Dare and Food Network host Marc Summers...

...and The Count from Sesame Street.

Who knows what you'll see at the Westbrook taping of The Nite Show?

“We have brought our show to Westbrook twice, and in both instances, they were unforgettable experiences,” said Cashman.

We always put a little extra effort into these shows on the road to make them a little more special. Please don’t tell people who go to our regular tapings about that. We wouldn’t want them to feel bad. And, as audiences go, they are very fragile people.

Tickets to The Nite Show at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center, on March 29 are free. Get yours at TheNiteShowMaine.com. You don't want to miss it, because there is only one more season before The Nite Show comes to an end in 2025.

Dan recently made the announcement, and it's sad to know it's coming to an end. Dan and I have become good friends because of our mutual love of game shows, late-night talk shows, and both having worked in radio. He even invited me to the show to host a game of The Price is Right.

Dan did something amazing that I'm sure many thought was impossible. He wanted to host a late-night talk show since he was a kid, and he made it happen all on his own. He made his dream come true, and I admire him for having that drive.

It's not over yet though! Catch The Nite Show with Danny Cashman on Saturday nights in Bangor at 11:30 on WABI-TV5 (CBS), Saturday nights in Portland at 10:30 on WPFO, FOX 23, and 1 a.m. on WGME CBS 13, and in Presque Isle on Saturday nights at 11:00 on WWPI NBC 16.
