A small single engine plane was rescued by a Holland America cruise shop after he landed his plane in the Pacific Ocean. How? You'll never believe it!

The pilot, Lue Morton from Seattle, had to ditch his plane, a Cirrus SR-22, when he had engine trouble over the Pacific. The Coast Guard helped direct the plane to go down near a cruise ship, and the pilot deployed a parachute system and then got into a life raft in the middle of 9- to 12-foot seas and winds of 25 to 28 mph.

The cruise-ship crew rescued the pilot, who was in good condition...and damn lucky! This is the coolest thing ever! Can they make them for giant planes? Comment here or Facebook or Twitter.
