Amazing. Such a Maine headline, but so much fun. Santa has even made it onto a lobster boat this year, and you can go see him this weekend!

Floating right into the harbor in Kennebunkport, Santa will be a huge part of their Christmas Prelude month that just launched today, December 1.

Santa's traveling up the river to dock right at the Nonantum Resort, which is one of the most beautiful hotels in the area so the scenes should be something this night.

Speaking of scenes, the Kennebunk Christmas Prelude Facebook page suggest the best place to watch Santa's entrance is on the sidewalk of the Mattew Lanigan Bridge in Dock Square. If you can't make it to that location, they also suggest trying shoreside up Ocean Avenue towards the Nonantum Resort.

The entire event really only goes for 15 minutes starting at 12:30 p.m and ending at 12:45 p.m., so make sure you get there early to secure your spot so you don't miss his grand entrance.

Here's what the cute event looked like a couple years ago:

I'd also suggest going to find the Christmas tree downtown. Their annual tree lighting is happening as we speak, so it'll be all pretty and lit. Get some good family photos, cause Kennebunkport is full of photo ops!
