The Sheriff Of ‘Hazzard’ Dies At 88

Every Friday night I would park my keister in front of the TV to see what would happen in Hazzard County.

Last night Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrane passed away at the age of 88 due to complications from pneumonia. I've only seen him in 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' as the bumbling, mumbling sheriff, however, James Best  had an amazing career with over 83 movies and 600 television shows. Shows like "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and "The Andy Griffith Show."

It was "The Dukes Of Hazzard" that made him well known. The show ran on CBS from 1979 to 1985.
