We Did It! Cans for a Cure 2015

With your help, we reached our 2015 Cans for a Cure goal of 1 million bottles and cans. That's $50,000 to support those impacted by cancer in Maine.

When Oxford Casino challenged us to raise the goal to 1 million bottles and cans, we had many emotions. We were nervous because that's a huge number, but we were excited for the challenge and even more excited that more money than ever would go to support Mainers whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

Your generous donations and the help from our sponsors pushed us to reach the goal. The last hour of Cans for a Cure 2015 was the most exciting time for us, with a giant bidding war for front row Amy Schumer tickets ending in a heartwarming donation for a cancer survivor and by a cancer survivor.

Thank you for making this the biggest Cans for a Cure yet. This year's funds will be split between the Maine Cancer Foundation and the Cancer Community Center.
