You Can Snuggle Goats This Weekend For Free

Is there anything better than snuggling with a goat? Of course there is, but it's still pretty great. Plus, kids love goats!

This Sunday you can do just that for free at the Sunflower Farm Creamery in Cumberland from noon to 2pm.

If you've never cuddled up to a little goat before here's your chance to snuggle a bunch of 'em. And believe it or not it's health, almost therapeutic for the goats, and definitely for us! An article from a quick Google search about the health benefits of goat snuggling talks about one farmer in Virginia who says "It actually has a lot of therapeutic benefits for the doe when she gets older, they're much easier to handle. It's a very easy transition into becoming a productive, milking animal, the less stressed out an animal is, the happier the animal is." 

The Creamery will offer goat snuggling again in May if you can't make it this Sunday.
