The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife extracted an 80+ pound albino Burmese python from an apartment in Biddeford, according to the November newsletter release on the Department's website.

Maine Game Wardens Cody Lounder, Eric Blanchard, Deputy Warden Harry Wiegman and Sergeant Tim Spahr seized four illegal snakes from the apartment in Biddeford, including an eleven foot long albino python that is against the law to possess in Maine.

Burmese pythons are also on the United States Federal Restricted Species List, and are against federal law to possess as well.
