Here Are 20 of the Best Places to Watch the Snow Fall in Maine During the Winter
Every time we are about to be hit with a whopper of a snowstorm here in Maine, I think to myself, "Self, where are the best places to watch the snowfall?"
Having a quiet moment to appreciate the snowy weather is enticing, especially when you are a busy working mom who never stops. Like, literally never stops. So, there is just something so cathartic about staring at snow, watching it fall, and admiring the pure beauty of Maine's mother nature.
However, when we do get dumped on by buckets of snow we aren't able to just jump in the car and drive to the coast, easily. It's slippery and dangerous so I wanted to think of ways to watch the snow in a safe way, because I am a helpful person.
It's the 21st century ya'll and just because you can't travel in this weather, does not mean you can appreciate it from a distance. It's a modern age and with that, I got you. There are several different lighthouses and mountains in Maine that you can virtually travel too via webcam to watch the snow fall.
Or, if you are more adventurous, we've got locations you can trek out onto. Or if you prefer sitting at a restaurant watching the snowfall, I've got you.
Here are a number of places you can enjoy the best views of Maine's snowfall in the winter months.
