This Memorial Day weekend, the grills get fired up in full force for the unofficial kickoff to summer in Maine. Burgers, hot dogs, sausage, you name it. They'll all be over the fire. So to get ready for the big weekend, I asked Q Morning Show fans on Facebook to share their favorite recipes for the grill with us.

Here are five we got, presented in no particular order, that you can try out this weekend.

1. Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions

It's a staple for Memorial Day, but Christopher Mosey shared with us how he makes them.

Section grill to have one side with hot coals. Use cast iron pan over hot coals for "direct" heat.

Sear sausages on both sides in the pan and move to side of grill without coals. Add sliced peppers and onions to pan. Cover grill for 5-10min.
Stir peppers and onions. Cover 5-10min. Repeat until vegetables are cooked the way you like them.

Sausages should have cooked through because of the indirect heat.

Serve on rolls.

2. Fajitas with Carne Asada

Christopher also shared how he makes this deliciousness on the grill.

Carne asada...
Skirt steak marinaded in a puree of lime juice, garlic, green pepper (or jalapenos or something hotter, if you're up for it), olive oil, salt, pepper. Use Ziplock bag and squeeze out the air for maximum contact. Marinade overnight in the fridge or longer.

All the vegetables can be grilled however you like.

3. Apple Jack Sirloin Kabobs

Catherine LaChance's kabobs sound delicious, but you'll want to prepare ahead for this one.

Chunk up a sirloin steak, mix with pearl onions and mushrooms. Marinate for 8 hours in:
one bottle hard cider (I prefer Woodchuck, but you can choose a dryer or sweeter one)
1/2 cup worchestershire
fresh garlic and crushed red pepper (both spices are to taste).
Cut up bell peppers and skewer with the steak, onions and shrooms.
I don't care for tomatoes on my kabobs but feel free to do your veggies of choice.
Cook to desired doneness.

4. Grilled Potatoes

Another staple from Sarah Lynn. Here's here take on how to do potatoes on the grill.

Slice 4-8 medium/large potatoes bring to a boil in half chicken broth half water drain when tender. Slice up 1 small onion. 1-2 tbl spoon minced garlic.Make a Tinfoil pouch, I use a pizza pan as a form/ tray. Put in onion potatoes and garlic. Season to taste (salt pepper italian seasoning paprika celery salt) add in either bacon grease or butter for flavor. Grill for 10min then flip for another 10min. Serve with any grilled meat.

5. Jalapeno and Cheddar Stuffed Burgers

Lindsay Monaghan says it's not the best picture, but that my friends is a jalapeno and cheddar stuffed burger along with other great grill items and sides. The directions are pretty straight forward. Make your patties with cheddar cheese and jalapenos in the middle, or swap out the jalapenos for bacon.

If you try any of these recipes, we want to see a pic! Do you have a grill recipe you'd like to share? Leave it in the comments below or on Facebook and Twitter for us.
