I always had an L.L. Bean backpack while I was growing up. First, I had small navy blue style, then I advanced to the larger classic style in teal, and then I made my way through high school and college with a fancy multi-pocket version with a laptop sleeve. The L.L. Bean backpack is a staple in Maine households along with plenty of other classic L.L. Bean products.

The older I get, the more I appreciate high quality, well-crafted products and apparel while still wanting something cute to wear. L.L. Bean wasn't always on my list of favorite clothing retailers, but they've made a nice home for themselves in the closet of many fashion forward bloggers and Pinterest-ers who appreciate the same level of craftsmanship and style that I do.

I am lucky to spend a lot of time on the ocean in the summer. I love the salty air and the refreshing sea breeze but even when it's warm outside, the ocean wind can be biting. This anorak is the only article of clothing that successfully deflects all that cold wind and keeps me warm and dry without any bulk. Hikers and outdoor adventurers love this pullover, which is why popular sizes and colors disappear from the flagship store in Freeport.

I endured a six month backorder period to get my hands on this super popular fleece. This pullover is all over Pinterest and fashion blogs. It's a staple item in my wardrobe because I consider it a grown-up replacement for my college hoodies. If you want one of these for the colder season ahead, you'd better order now. The popular sizes disappear almost as soon as they're restocked.

This isn't an apparel item, but I've been lusting over this classic style backpack. Although the appearance is slightly vintage, the interior boasts pockets and sleeves for modern technology. I think this bag will find it's way onto my shoulders this fall.

If you're wondering if a pair of leggings could really be worth nearly $80 I'm telling you that yes, yes they are worth the money. My last pair of these disappeared off the face of the earth and it was a very devastating loss. I will replace these for the winter season because I love to wear these incredibly well-fitting, super flattering, cozy AF leggings around the house or underneath a long sweater. They're no see through (even at unfortunate angles) and the classic L.L. Bean logo is so charming.

Who knew heaven was a place on my feet? I've had a pair of these slippers for several years. They're a size too big, but I never went in to exchange them because of two reasons. For one, my size is usually out of stock in stores. And two, I can't bear to be without them for the few days it might take to ship them to my house. They're cozy, comfy, soft, adorable, and keep my tootsies warm through on those cold-floor mornings.
