A New Hollister Location Is Set to Open in the Maine Mall in August

Goodbye, Abercrombie & Fitch, and hello, Hollister.

Several months ago, Abercrombie & Fitch closed down their longtime location in the Maine Mall.

Months later, and nearly right across the aisle from it, Abercrombie will open a new retail branch of their other brand, Hollister, this August.

The signage is up and a preview is in the storefront promising that the new Hollister location will be opening on Friday, August 2nd.

Hollister specializes in jeans, shirts, jackets, underwear and other various 'body care' options.

According to a representative of Abercrombie & Fitch, "Hollister targets the teen demographic, while A&F targets those ages 24-29."

Similar to the Abercrombie & Fitch store experience, Hollister stores have their own line of fragrances that inundate the store and typically play music in the store.

An Abercrombie & Fitch representative reached out to say that both the music and scents have been turned down in both A&F and Hollister stores as of five years ago.

Prior to the this Hollister location in the Maine Mall, there was only one location in Maine, at the Bangor Mall.
