"I'm heading out of town for the weekend, need anything from the New Hampshire liquor store?"

This is a phrase you've probably heard before... a lot. And it's no surprise - New Hampshire has no sales tax, which means you can stock up on 24-packs, big bottles of liquor, and a case of wine without the extra hefty tax you'd have to pay in surrounding states.

Alcohol sales per capita by state was mapped out by Bo McCready @boknowsdata on Twitter. Fun fact: New Hampshire was the #1 consumer per capita in beer, liquor, and overall - the only state to beat them in alcohol sales was Idaho in wine.
