Allagash Brewing’s Name Has a Deeper Meaning Than You Think

Maine. Vacationland and the one state everybody sees as the underdog since we're "in the middle of nowhere".

But thats exactly it; the places that you don't initially see on a map. Those are the real spots that make Maine, well, Maine. I don't wanna be like anyone else anyways hehe.

Allagash is one of the most popular breweries in Maine, but it wasn't the beer that the waterway was named after; it was actually the wilderness in a way.

What does Allagash White mean?

Besides my favorite beer on tap from them? I'm not the biggest beer drinker so all I really know is that they're infamous for white or wheat beers. In their own words,
