Portland, Maine, Photographer Will Photograph Your Sick or Elderly Pups for Free
Not all heroes wear capes, but Justine in Portland sure does.
Maine native Justine Johnson has a mission to provide a free photography session for you and your dog to hold as a memory before they pass.
She calls it a "Celebrate Life" session, and it's the purest thing I've ever heard a human want to do for other dog parents.
This is just one dog mom trying to reach another dog mom who may need a little bit of joy in their life if they're going through it right now with their pup. Best of all, the session is free!
Here's what Justine posted on the Portland, Maine Facebook page that will help you better understand her mission:
"I just wanted to remind folks that I'm a photographer here in Portland & I photograph elderly and terminally ill dogs for free. With their humans, of course! I love to meet folks either at their home or at a spot their dog(s) love and get some natural, fun, happy photos of them together - snuggling, petting, throwing the ball, whatever feels right.
If you're interested, or know someone who is, have them contact me! justine@justinejohnsonphotography.com October is a little crazy schedule-wise but I can still fit in a few folks, and November and beyond will open up much more."
Here's her website if you'd like to book with her, I think this is absolutely beautiful what she's doing.
