Comedian Louis C.K. Set to Release New Movie Set in Maine

Typically, the only movies that are set in Maine have something to do with Stephen King novels. But there won't be anything supernatural or horror-related in the latest movie set in Maine that has been developed, co-written, and financed by comedian Louis C.K.. The movie is titled 'Fourth of July', and follows a mild-mannered aspiring jazz musician who travels to Maine over a holiday weekend to confront his hardened, Boston-bred family. He desperately wants to be shown love and respect, and faces some large challenges with a dysfunctional family that shows love and respect in a very peculiar (and frankly, very New England) way.

If you watch the trailer for the film, it's likely to resonate with a lot of New England families who have get togethers 'upta camp'. Louis C.K. and the star of the film, comedian Joe List, co-wrote the movie and recruited many of their comic friends like Nick Di Paolo and Robert Kelly to round out an impressive cast.
