The annual Dash For Dogs 5K and Strutt Your Mutt Dog Walk returns to help the needy dogs at GAHS. It's on Sunday, April 30. Every day the caring staff at the Greater Androscoggin Human Society and volunteers help dogs in so many ways - providing shelter, care, healthy food, a warm blanket, needed medical care, and behavioral support and enrichment. Now you can help them help more dogs than ever! They have a new Behavior Specialist, and they can help more dogs in need at the shelter and in the community. To help, just be a part of the Dash!

Come walk or run the course along the beautiful Androscoggin Riverwalk path. This is one of the few events in Maine where bringing your dog is encouraged! You do have to have current on vaccinations and NO flex-lead leashes. Plus, if you aren't quite up to the task, there is a virtual option too.
