Dover, New Hampshire, Drive Thru Employee Goes Above and Beyond in Awkward Situation
Dunkin App
Although using a header that reads 'Dunkin App' seems like this is going to be some kind of ad, it's not. But, quite simply put, customers to any Dunkin around New England and beyond have two ways to make their ordering experience more convenient.
Wait in line at the drive thru (because there's always a line -- that's just what happens with popular places), or order ahead on the Dunkin App and be able to cut the line.
But it's the drive thru of a specific Dunkin that's going to be highlighted right now.
Dover NH Dunkin Locations
Although there are endless locations for Dunkin throughout New England, it's the Dover, New Hampshire, location right off of Exit 7 of the Spaulding Turnpike/Route 16 that's being highlighted, because of an absolute hilarious interaction between a customer and a 'hidden' employee.
Because during an early morning trip to the drive thru minutes after the scheduled opening time, half of the electronic menu board was off. Which then led to the customer -- with an open window -- shaking their first while repeatedly saying the 'brown word' that begins with 's' over and over...
...followed by a drive thru employee's voice coming over the intercom just seconds later.
Which, you'd think would be an embarrassing situation, except for the drive thru employee taking the random situation and running with it, mentioning that they were going to provide the customer with extra napkins under the assumption there had been 'some massive poop accident' in the vehicle.
And, sometimes, that's all it takes to create a loyal customer. Being presented with a clearly very unique situation, and instead of dismissing a customer like this as a rude or disrespectful person, deciding to have fun with the situation, create a laugh, and a great start to an early morning for both parties involved.
