A new cafe recently opened in Yarmouth, Maine, in the former DeLorme building. You know, the one with the giant Earth.

Eartha Cafe, which seems like a pretty on-point name, is serving up lattes, bakery treats, and sandwiches (I'll have the buffalo chicken wrap!), all right next to the world's largest rotating globe.

Plus, it seems like a nice, quiet, out-of-the-way spot for when you want to get away for a moment and enjoy a bite to eat.

When Does Eartha Cafe in Yarmouth, Maine, Open?

Eartha Cafe shared on its Facebook page that it officially opened on Monday, October 12, 2026.

You can stop in any day during the week, as the cafe is open Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It is closed on the weekend, however.

Is Eartha Cafe the same as Magno Terra Cafe in Yarmouth, Maine?

You might be thinking, "Wait. I thought there already was a cafe near the giant globe."

That was Magno Terra Cafe, which opened in 2023 and closed in July 2026. There were plans to move to a new location in Portland, but its owner shared on Facebook that things fell through and operations would be paused indefinitely.

The newest venture at the Garmin building in Yarmouth, Eartha Cafe, is its own thing, not a rebrand or a 2.0.

The cafe clarified that in a comment on one of their Facebook posts: "[We are] a completely new business under different ownership, with no affiliation to Magno Terra though we wish them all the best. While we're operating in the same space, we're offering an entirely different menu and concept."

What Can You Eat at Eartha Cafe in Yarmouth, Maine?

Thankfully, there's an online menu of all the various foods you can choose from at Eartha Cafe, if you wanted to know before you go.

Basically, it's house-made breakfast and lunch options, as well as pastries, coffee, smoothies, and some grab-and-go meals.

I even spotted some falafel and chicken pot pie on the menu!
