Everything You Need To Know About the 15th Annual Cans For A Cure
Here we go again! Lori, Jeff and Kylie will be living in the parking lot of the Maine Mall broadcasting live until they collect 1.5 million bottles and cans for the 15th annual Cans For a Cure. Here's everything you need to know and how you can help.
Cans For a Cure begins On October 11 and continues until we collect 1.5 million empty bottles and cans or the equivalent in cash donations. That ends up as a $75,000 donation to the Cancer Community Center which helps those that have been affected by cancer, whether personally or someone they love, to cope with this terrible disease.
There are so many ways you can help.
1. Donate at the Maine Mall
Lori, Jeff and Kylie will be at the Maine Mall parking lot near Hannaford Supermarket broadcasting live until we collect 1.5 million cans. You can stop by and see us, drop off your empties or make a cash donation. We accept major credit cards or checks and of course, good 'ole United States cash. And remember, your donation is tax deductible.
2. Get on the Can Van route
Do you have a LOT of cans? We'll come pick them up in the Q Can Van! Sign up now so we can put you on the route.
3. Donate Online
Can't make it to the mall? No problem. Sit back and relax in the comfort of your own home and make a donation online. Hit the link below or you can text your donation and have it billed to your mobile provider account. Just text CANS to 207-517-2011 and follow the easy instructions you get back.
4. Bid In Our Online Auction
For the first time ever, we're having an online auction to raise money for Cans For a Cure.
