Facebook Video Demonstrates How a Bear Trap Works [VIDEO]

On November 4th, Mainers will go to the polls and vote whether or not to prohibit the use of traps, bait and dogs to hunt bear. Normand Poitras of Van Buren posted this video on his Facecook page to demonstrate that hunters, by law, do not use traps with steel jaws and teeth anymore.

The video demonstrates that the trap will snare the bear with a cable and that other animals too small will not trigger the trap.
