Fallen Mainer Honored Along I-95
Bridges along I-95 were lined with police vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, and members of public safety and other first responders on Saturday night, honoring fallen Mainer, Corey Dodge.
Corey Dodge was among 12 people killed in Afghanistan after a suicide bomber attacked a convoy of armored vehicles. Corey's friend Adam Towers, along with two motorcycle clubs, rode to Massachusetts to help bring Corey's body back to Maine on Saturday afternoon. Corey's procession received the salute of dozens of first responders along I-95. The display of vehicles, lights, and American flags was truly breath-taking.
The procession travelled to the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home in Newport Saturday evening.
