Family Hand Casting, Would You Do This?

At first I thought it was a little strange, the more I watched this the more I thought it would be amazing. If I had a family, I may consider something like this to freeze a moment in time. Maybe for Summer vacation? 

I actually like this idea, it's very sweet and I think the kids would get a kick out of it. We made plaster castings of our hands in pre-school. My mom still has it and I remember doing it. I also remember my perfectionism coming through because I moved one finger to the right a little more than the others and I thought it was ruined. Would you do this with the family?

I found a local woman who primarily does belly castings for pregnant moms but also I noticed she does hands as well. I love the idea of preserving your family bond.
