Pairing Food & Drink

It's fairly common to find wine and cheese tastings. According to Wine Cooler Direct, this practice dates back generations.

Scientifically speaking they go well together due to the mouthfeel and scientists from the National Institutes of Health state that foods on opposite ends of the spectrum in taste create an enjoyable experience.

That's probably why everyone loves dipping Wendy's french fries in Frostys.

Island Dog Brewing

So, why not take this concept and Maine it up? Island Dog Brewing located on John Roberts Road in South Portland is teaming up with Tin Pan Bakery for a Beer & Whoopie Pie Pairing.
