Gorham Votes to Require All New Homes to Have This Safety Feature Built In

The Town of Gorham is now requiring that all new homes built in the town must have sprinkler systems, starting this October.
The town council voted 5-2 in favor of the new ordinance, which will require all new homes, even single-family homes, to have the systems installed.
There are only 260 homes in the town of Gorham have the fire suppression systems now. Officials said that the new policy will help save property and lives from fire loss.
