Hometown Heroes 2020: Nominate That Special First Responder or Veteran in Your Life
It's back!
Hometown Heroes was such a success in 2019, that we want to do it again and honor even more of our local first responders and veterans.
These members of our community go above and beyond to keep us safe because to them, their job is more than just a vocation.
They walk into situations most people run away from, whether it is at war, catching bad guys, fighting fires, helping people in car crashes or other types of accidents, and, in general, just making our communities safer. They do their jobs in blazing heat, in the middle of ice and snowstorms, and in the middle of the night. They work on holidays and all weekend long.
And we want to recognize those people in 2020.
So once again, each month, we will select and highlight one veteran or first responder from Maine, Massachusetts, or New Hampshire to recognize them as our Hometown Hero of the Month.
Nominate first responders (i.e. police, firefighters, paramedics, etc.) and military veterans that you want recognized in the form below so we can acknowledge their hard work and dedication.
If they are selected, the Hometown Hero of the Month will also win a $25 to Bubba Fryes Wings & Things and four tickets to the Seacoast Science Center in Rye.
Submissions will be accepted January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. This is a multi-station contest.
