Hoops for Hope With Thornton Academy Girls Basketball

The annual Hoops for Hope fundraiser is  Friday, February 1, during Thornton Academy home games against Windham, starting at 4:30 PM.
The TA girls basketball program and the community of Saco are giving hope to cancer patients and their families as they deal with the many hardships associated with this dreaded disease.

Ticket sales from this Pink Ribbon game will be donated to the cause by Thornton Academy. And, all players in the program, grades 5-12, will be collecting donations.

There will be tons of stuff auctioned & raffled off throughout the evening. Over the past three years, they have been so grateful for the incredible and generous donations that have helped them raise almost $75,000!

To say this fundraiser has had a positive impact on the community (and beyond) would be an understatement. In the past three years, Hoops for Hope has helped so many cancer patients and their families. The financial assistance has come in many forms, including gift cards, gas cards, wigs, payment of utility and medical bills, etc.
