I Called 911 on My Way Home From Work Yesterday – And I Don’t Know If I Should Have…

I called 911 while driving home yesterday...and I still don't know if it was the right thing to do.

I watched a white truck race (about 35-40mph) through a red light and BARELY miss a car going on the green. I was right behind him. My heart was racing.

I thought, maybe it was just an accident and he was distracted...or something. I continued on, and just happened to be following him. I saw him pull into a neighborhood...I followed. He went through the neighborhood and back onto route one.

He was speeding and I actually think he was trying to lose me. I followed and then dialed 911. I was afraid he may run another red light and hurt someone.

I followed him for a bit - but he was going way too fast. I was actually scared to call 911. I thought maybe he'd find out it was me and hunt me down. Then I scolded myself for being selfish.

I have no idea what happened. Probably nothing...would you have called?
