I Was Told No Pictures at Uncle Andy’s – Here Are the Two I Got!

Today is the big day for Uncle Andy's in South Portland. They are currently being renovated for the Food Network show, 'Restaurant Impossible' with host Chef Robert Irvine. 

The crew set up today and I went down yesterday morning to get some pictures of the excitement. I was told after this picture - 'No pictures please.'

Now I tend to be a rule follower. I tried my sad face I perfected in Disney when it rained...

It got me nowhere. So I asked if I could take a picture of their food table. He said yes. They eat crap - and lots of it.

Okay...this was not the most successful outing. But tonight the film crew is headed to The Gold Room to tape owner Dennis Fogg who does stand up! Then Wednesday is the grand re-opening for friends and family...and then - release the hounds! We all get to see the new Uncle Andy's.
