You'd like to think that any restaurant in Maine that sells seafood would be just as good as the rest of them right? Truthfully, they really are all good BUT there's a few seafood shacks that just rise above the rest of them.

Where is Red's Eats Wiscasset, Maine?

If you’re cruising through Wiscasset, Maine, and spot a long line of people wrapped around a tiny red shack, you’ve found Red’s Eats.

I'll tell you one thing, I've waited in that line before and I'd do it again that's how delicious it is.

This place is legendary because they scoop a literal pile of juicy lobster meat on a roll that's definitely the most bang for your buck:

Red's is considered one of the most iconic lobster shacks in New England. It’s a roadside legend, and yes, the line is totally worth it. You'll make friends in the line, it's pretty fun hehe.

The Lobster Shack at Two Lights

This cutie shack is right in Cape Elizabeth and one of our summertime go-to's. It's a must-visit. The views are absolutely immaculate as it's perched on the rocky shores at the end of Two Lights Road.

They've been crushing fresh seafood since the 1920s so by default they're iconic.

Ken's Seafood Scarborough

I absolutely adore this place and their owners. Their staff is as kind as their piled high seafood is tasty and Maine LOVES it.

Ken's is on the summer don't miss list. This is the place you go to off the boat in your bathingsuit cover up and it's absolutely welcomed. The picnic tables outside are the main attraction and the over all vibe is just fun-loving.

Leave your own suggestions in the comment section if you've got a shack that's insanely good! Happy spring/summer transition! Here's 15 more awesome seafood places below, check these out:
