Okay, I love it when I'm just existing and I accidentally find a new restaurant that's friggen bomb.com. The "pho community" as I call it, is growing in popularity lately and I finally jumped on board. Here's your new local pho spot.

PHOever Maine Vietnamese Bar and Grill

Have you tried this delicious masterpiece of a bowl yet? Look at this:

The cool part is that this place is super unassuming which in my eyes is a tell-tale sign that it's going to be delicious. It was.

It's the same way dive-bars sometimes have the BEST chicken tendies like the way Samuel's in Portland used to or Tomaso's  in Portland that's still open.

So of course once I tried it I was hitting myself for not trying it earlier because oh my gawd. They're soup is completely unbiased-ly if that's a word, the best pho I've had so far.

PHOever Maine New Maine location

Remember the old Anania's location on Outer Congress St. in Portland? That's where you'll find the new and improved location of PHOever. That's literally the perfect real estate for their new location as tons of foot traffic comes their way.

Where did PHOever Maine move from?

Their old location didn't suck either though. They were right off a main road in Westbrook called Lerabee Rd which I was sad to see them close since I live in the surrounding area.

I also really love our local Veranda Noodle Bars too as another suggestion. They've got 2 locations, one in Portland on Veranda St. and one on Main St. in Westbrook.
