The Colisee in Lewiston, Maine

The arena, which seats just under 3,700 people (up to 4,500 for concerts), first opened as the Central Maine Youth Center in 1958.  It held that name until 1989 when it became the Central Maine Civic Center.  Since 2004, it has held some variation of the name The Colisee.

While the venue has hosted many memorable events, the most well known event to ever take place at The Colisee was Muhammad Ali's 1965 fight against Sonny Liston.

Additionally, the venue has hosted dozens of concerts including Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Parmalee, Motley Crue, Jordan Davis, Jars of Clay, and Sixpence None the Richer.  Check out a full lost of shows hosted at the venue HERE.
