Peanuts, popcorn, elephants, and acrobats! It's officially circus season, and they are coming to Maine, ladies and gentle-dudes. I, for one, am excited.

The Hamid Circus will be pulling into Lewiston on May 17-19. They are performing at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

With six big shows throughout the weekend, this will be a memorizing spectacle of high-flying fun for all!

The shows are as follows: Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 11:00am, 3:00pm, and 7:00pm, and Sunday at 12:00pm and 4:00pm, according to the Colisee.

With daredevil stunts, aerialists, and tons of comedic fun, this circus is set to be pretty epic.

The Hamid Circus is an unforgettable experience. As per their site, they are America's longest-standing, family-owned circus! They have been performing for audiences since 1917, and have spanned four generations. This circus has delighted audiences all over the nation with their thrilling shows. They offer aerial stunts, clown antics, and magic shows.

According to the Colisee event page, the circus happily distributed free tickets for Maine kids at local schools, daycares, and businesses to promote family fun!

Tickets are $20 for reserved seats. General admission is $15, and $10 for kids 12 and under, according to the site.

You can buy your tickets by calling (207)783-2009 ext. 1, online at thecolisee.com, or at the box office on weekdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
