3 Maine Businesses That Shut Down What Replaced Them
At this point it feels like business turnover is a part of our daily routine here in Maine, right? Actually I'm sure it feels like that everywhere considering the world feels like it's on fire at the moment.

Za Pizza Portland, Maine
Ironically, this is a pizzeria replacing a pizzeria and it's damn good. Slab Sicilian Street Food was the place to be for quite some time since it was in an awesome location in the old port. However, Portland gained an even more delicious pizza shop, Za.
Next up is Camp Pennant in Portland. I haven't been inside of it yet but I do know that they've got some big shoes to fill following Liquid Riot's.
Camp Pennant replaced Liquid Riot
It's a new brewery & distillery which will never go wasted in Maine. I'm excited to check it out!
"The new owner of Liquid Riot is Michael Fraser, who owns or has ownership stake in several other Portland restaurants around the city. They include Bramhall, CBG, Nosh and Nosh Tacos, as well as Paper Tiger" - wcyy
Bubble Bliss replaced Old Port Nutrition
Considering this place is right across the street from the front door of our studios, both places were and still are a win all around.
Bubble tea has been trending on Tik Tok recently for years so it's nice to have a store front available on Commercial St instead of just online.
I've said this about Portland before and I'll say it again. Portland is the perfect small city to start a thriving small business in because locals will always support!
