Maine roads can be tricky to navigate before daybreak, especially when those roads are windy, dark and in more remote parts of the state.

According to a release from the Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office, several of their deputies were on the scene of a rollover crash just north of the town of Greenville on Route 15.

The Sheriff's Office released a photo early on Thursday morning that clearly showed a beverage delivery truck lying on its side in the middle of Maine Route 15.

Additionally, as seen in the photo, there are hundreds of cans of beer scattered all over the road. It appears as though there's about 50 yards worth of debris.

Fortunately, the Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office said the driver suffered only minor injuries in the rollover crash. The Sheriff's Office is being assisted on the scene by members of the Greenville, Maine Fire Department and Northern Light C.A. Dean Ambulance service.

We're unsure at this time (8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept 19) if the roadway has been cleared and/or reopened to passing traffic. If you have to go through the area this morning it may be best to attempt and find an alternate route through that section of Route 15.

Maine Route 15 is a typically busy road that starts in Stonington which is on the southern end of Deer Isle and runs north through Bangor, Greenville, and Millinocket. It ends at the Canadian border in Jackman. After that, it links to Quebec Route 173.

This popular route goes through an array of areas from coastal areas to inland woods, offering access to popular tourist spots like Moosehead Lake.
