If you love pie and enjoy exploring small coastal towns, Camden’s annual Pies on Parade event is something worth checking out.

Hosted by AIO Food & Energy Assistance, the event will take place March 14–15, 2026 across several Midcoast Maine towns including Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Thomaston. The popular fundraiser invites visitors and locals alike to walk through participating businesses and sample a wide variety of pies.

The concept is simple but fun. Participants purchase a ticket and receive access to dozens of “pie stops” throughout the area. From bakeries and cafés to hotels and local shops, each location serves its own style of pie.

Some offer traditional sweet favorites like apple or blueberry, while others get creative with savory options such as seafood pies, pizza pies, and other unique recipes. With more than 50 participating locations most years, it becomes a casual pie-tasting adventure that also encourages people to explore the community.

Beyond the delicious food, the event has an important purpose. Proceeds from ticket sales help support AIO’s programs that provide food, heating assistance, and other resources to residents in need throughout the Midcoast region. The fundraiser has grown into one of the organization’s most recognized annual events and brings hundreds of visitors to the area each year.
