This Maine State Park Is Getting a Spooky Makeover for One Night Only
Okay, I think we can all agree that Maine is pretty beautiful in the fall. Between the changing leaves, cooler temperatures, and Halloween activities popping up everywhere, it's easily one of my favorite times of year.
But what if you could experience one of Maine's beautiful state parks after dark, with a spooky twist?
Well, that's exactly what's happening at Reid State Park in Georgetown!
Haunted Tides Is Coming to Reid State Park
On Saturday, October 17, Reid State Park is hosting an event called Haunted Tides, and honestly, this sounds like such a cool way to experience the park.
Instead of your typical daytime visit, guests will get the chance to explore the park after dark with Halloween-inspired activities.
And let's be real, walking through a state park at night already sounds a little creepy!
The event is expected to feature haunted trail walks, bat walks, campfire stories, and opportunities to learn about wildlife that comes alive after the sun goes down.
A Different Kind of Halloween Experience in Maine
What I love about this is that it's not your typical haunted house or Halloween party.
It's an opportunity to experience one of Maine's beautiful coastal parks in a completely different way.
If you're looking for something a little different to do this Halloween season, Haunted Tides at Reid State Park might be worth adding to your calendar!
