But let’s be honest, mini golf season might be even better. Who needs a perfectly manicured fairway when you can sink putts through windmills, dodge giant lobsters, and bank shots around lighthouses while crushing an ice cream and a cold soda?
How is Mini Golf in Maine?
I've always had a soft spot for mini golf. It's such a fun activity and brings back memories of many great rounds with family and friends. I remember playing a ton as a kid, especially at Westerly Winds (RIP) in Westbrook, Pirate's Cove in Old Orchard Beach, and Steamboat Landing in Naples.
Sadly, I haven’t played as much in recent years. But that doesn't change the fact that I absolutely love it. And it's difficult not to, considering how lucky we are to have so many wonderful courses in this state—especially in Southern Maine.

Below is a list of all the active mini golf courses we could find in Southern Maine. Many of these courses are well-known and have been around for a while, but there are some newer locations too.
The courses vary in theme—Maine, pirate, ocean, jungle, dinosaur, just to name a few. There's even one opening soon that's located in an actual bar. How fun will that be? The mini golfer certainly isn't lacking for options in the southern part of the state.
