Do you have a great voice and love to sing but have kind of given up on the possibility of being the next finalist on "American Idol"?

Or maybe you’re like me – you love music and you love to sing but you can’t sing…

However, after a few drinks you can be easily persuaded into belting out your favorite songs in front of a room full of strangers?

Either way, I thought it would be interesting to see where in Maine you can still be a rock star on a random night and a random bar. I was surprised.

There are a lot more karaoke nights being hosted than I had originally thought.

Shoutout to DJ Brian C for doing the legwork and coming up with a list of all the locations, along with the nights that they host, throughout the state of Maine.

From the seacoast towns of Kennebunk all the way up to the mid-coast in Searsport, there are apparently 75 different locations on different nights where you can grab the mic and take over the stage.

Who knew that East Shore Tavern in Raymond, Maine, hosted karaoke on Tuesday nights? Not me. Southern and central Maine and up into the Sugarloaf region are getting in on the action too. I don’t think I saw anything for you folks up in the county, but that’s not to insinuate that you’re not throwing wild karaoke parties.

Whether you’ve got Freddy Mercury or Mariah Carey pipes or could break the glass of the establishment that you’re singing at, here’s a list of karaoke nights throughout the state of Maine.
